7/1
Warwick bumper winner who has made the frame in 2 of his 3 starts since switched to handicaps, fourth of 10 at Ffos Las (15.8f, soft) when last seen in April. Resumes on a 2 lb lower mark and could have a part to play, provided he settles better than has often been the case.

Promising type who showed promise when placed in back-to-back Taunton maiden hurdles (both over 16.5f on soft/good respectively) last season. Handed a fair mark for this handicap debut and improvement may well be forthcoming. Tongue strap applied.

Off the mark in a Wexford handicap chase (2m, heavy) for previous connections in August. However, added to what is a distinctly patchy profile when pulled up at Killarney later that month, and he's opposable starting out over hurdles for new yard here.

Was entering 'longstanding maiden' territory prior to belatedly opening her account back from 12 months off in a C&D novice 29 days ago. Benefited from an enterprising ride on that occasion, though, and things are unlikely to pan out so favourably in this big-field handicap.

Fair on the Flat and bettered previous efforts in this sphere when fifth in a 12-runner handicap at this course (21.6f, soft) during the spring. Spin on the Flat last month will ensure that he's not found wanting fitness-wise and not without each-way hope.

Better signs since switched to handicaps and got the job done, seemingly with a fair bit left up his sleeve, in a 5-runner contest at Newton Abbot (16.8f, heavy) last time. 4 lb rise could have been worse and he has to enter calculations.

Hinted at promise on hurdling bow over C&D last November and back on track when landing a weak novice back here in February. His race came to a premature end on subsequent handicap debut, so hard to draw any conclusions from that, but the percentage call is to take him on.

Showed a bit on the first of 2 bumper runs, but it's hard to draw any positive from his efforts over hurdles thus far, most recently pulled up on his handicap debut at Stratford in April.

Poor in bumpers and while she was second on hurdles debut over C&D in March, that was in a 4-runner race in which 3 completed. Safely both starts since but, on the upside, she now makes her handicap debut on a lowly mark.

No show in a bumper and 3 novice hurdles to date. By no means impossible that he'll improve now pitched into a handicap, but he'll certainly need to if he's to have a say in the finish.

Placed both starts in bumpers and, though beaten a fair way both hurdles starts for Tom Lacey last term, there were more encouraging signs when fourth of 8 in Bangor maiden (16.7f, soft) on return/debut for new yard last month. Likely improver now handicapping.

Fair Flat winner in France and hit the crossbar in handicap hurdles at Newton Abbot and Worcester in May/June. Has held form since, but now 0-9 in this sphere and again looks vulnerable from a win point of view.

Fair middle-distance maiden on Flat and bought from Michael Bell's yard for 50,000 gns in July. Failed to threaten in 5 starts switched to hurdles last season, but there was promise in his recent run on the Flat and he's worth a second look off a lowly mark.

Showed a bit when a well-held second in a bumper here on debut in January, but subsequent efforts over hurdles have left much to be desired. Needs to improve significantly now handicapping.

There were more than enough positives to take from MAJOR FORTUNE's reappearance fourth on debut for Dan Skelton in a Bangor maiden to suggest that he will be seriously competitive now handicapping off what could turn out to be a handy opening mark. He gets the nod ahead of another likely improver in Danton and Imperial Measure, who did the job well at Newton Abbot last time. Arthalot and Filanderer are others to consider.
