Successful sole start in points and whilst she failed to meet expectations when midfield in 14-runner Ascot bumper (15.7f) in February she was a shade keen/green then. Entitled to have learned from that and respected on hurdles bow.

Mount Nelson mare who built on her bumper debut effort when second of 9 at Bangor (16.6f) in May, settling better granted a more strongly-run race. Longer trip promises to suit now hurdling.

Malinas mare. Successful on sole outing in Irish points in March and shaped much better than distance beaten suggests when second in 13-runner mares' novice hurdle at Chepstow (19.5f) 4 weeks ago. Looks sure to progress and worth considering.

€5,000 3-y-o, Shantou mare. Half-sister to sprint winner Show Approval. Made frame both completed starts in Irish points, runner-up latest (May 20). Tongue strap on.

£22,000 5-y-o, Quest For Peace mare. Sister to fair 23f chase winner The Boola Boss, and half-sister to fair chaser The Boola Bee, stayed 3¼m. Dam ran once in bumper/over hurdles. Off mark in Irish points at third attempt (Apr 23). Market should guide.

Listed bumper winner last winter. Well beaten in a listed mares' novice on her Cheltenham hurdle debut in April but she should be capable of better with her sights lowered.

Soldier Of Fortune mare. Fair form on 2 of her 3 starts in bumpers last season, fourth in 14-runner event at Southwell (15.8f) in April. Longer trip promises to suit now attentions switch to hurdling on seasonal bow.

Didn't kick on in bumpers but she did show some promise when runner-up on hurdles debut at Huntingdon last month, on bridle for longer than winner but collared well inside final 1f. Task now is to go the right way from that.

£75,000 5-y-o. Successful sole start in Irish points (Feb 12) but she could only run to a modest level when sixth of 13 in an Exeter bumper (16.7f) on Rules debut in April. Up in trip for hurdles debut.

£20,000 3-y-o, Mahler filly. Makes appeal on paper and showed ability when third in valuable, big-field Newbury bumper (16.3f) on debut back in March. Rates the type to make her mark over hurdles for very good yard.

Best effort in bumpers when second of 5 at Market Rasen (16.5f) in August and she was given a considerate introduction to hurdling when fourth of 8 in a mares' maiden at Exeter (16.7f) 4 weeks ago. Handicaps likely to be more her bag.

Positive start when third on debut in a Fakenham bumper (2m) in April and may have found the race coming too soon at Southwell later that month. Pedigree an ongoing recommendation and interesting what the market makes of her now hurdling following 6 months off.
