Developed into a useful staying handicap chaser in 2022/23, winning twice (including on his return) and also finishing fourth in both the Classic Chase at Warwick and Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter. Leading contender back down in grade.

Bumper winner who scored twice over hurdles last season, suited by the step up in trip when successful in novice at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in April. Found life tougher in handicap at Aintree next time, but he remains unexposed as a stayer as he makes his chase debut.

Off the mark over fences at this C&D in November last year but in-and-out form since, leaving behind a lesser effort when fourth at Uttoxeter (3m) in May (made a significant mistake at the last). Cheekpieces back on and he's capable of getting involved if on a going day.

Took advantage of reduced mark at Wetherby (24.2f) in April and backed that up when second at Perth later the same month. In a share of third before making a bad mistake 3 out when pulled up at Uttoxeter last time, so he could go well if ready to go on return.

Dual hurdles winner and also won twice over fences last season, scoring in small-field novice handicap chases at Kelso (23.4f) on both occasions. Unsuited by emphasis on speed when runner-up at Haydock (19.9f) in March, so he could still have more to offer back up in trip.

Useful hurdler/chaser at his best and, having dropped to a career-low mark, caused a surprise when getting back to winning ways over hurdles at Hexham (20.1f) last month. However, not in the same form 2 weeks later. Others preferred returned to chasing.

Fairly useful winner over hurdles and ran to a similar level switched to chasing last season, getting off the mark over fences in handicap at Wetherby (24.2f) in March. Ran creditably when third at Newcastle next time, but will need to find more on his return.

Has relished the step up to 3m over fences this season, completing a hat-trick at Perth in August/September. Remains on a workable mark based on old form (previously trained by Jonjo O'Neill), so he can make his presence felt.

Having dropped in the weights, landed this corresponding race for the second time in 3 years last season. Below form over hurdles on his last 2 outings, but no surprise to see him fare better back over fences racing off the same mark as last year's success.

GUETAPAN COLLONGES showed improved form last season, scoring in handicaps at Warwick and Uttoxeter, and he can make a winning return for the second successive campaign having been given a chance by the handicapper. There could still be more to come from Your Own Story as a stayer and he heads the list of dangers, ahead of Wasdell Dundalk.
