Shaped well when second at Newmarket on debut but hasn't been able to land the odds upped to 1m both starts since. However, the form of his Sandown third last time has been boosted by the runner-up scoring this week, so he could be thereabouts on handicap debut.

Left debut form behind with tongue strap applied when winning Epsom maiden in July and ran to similar level when second at Chester next time. Didn't get a clear run at this course (7f, good to firm) on nursery debut in August, so he remains with potential up in trip.

Sea The Moon colt who benefited from the increase in trip when off the mark in 3-runner Sandown nursery (1m, good) last month, going clear over 1f out. That wasn't a strong race but he could be capable of better still. Major player.

Showed improved form upped to 1m on both outings last month, runner-up in nursery at Thirsk before making all for a decisive success at Doncaster (good). Had the run of the race last time but he's been progressing well recently. Shortlisted.

Produced a promising first effort when third at Haydock in July but hasn't gone on as hoped since, in first-time cheekpieces when sixth of 10 on nursery debut at Doncaster (6.5f, good to soft) a month ago. Goes up in distance with blinkers reached for.

Has run to a fair level on his 4 starts so far, running creditably switched to a nursery when third of 6 at this course (7f, soft) 3 weeks ago. Bred to be smart (stamina on his dam's side), so the further step up in trip could bring out about improvement.

Justified market support when getting off the mark at the sixth attempt in Carlisle nursery (6.9f) in August. After a below-par effort on all-weather next time, quickly back to form when runner-up at this course (7f, soft) 3 weeks ago. More needed.

Got back on the up when opening his account in nursery at Yarmouth (7f, good to soft) in September and, under a penalty, came from further back than the others in the frame at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) 16 days ago. Can give his running again.

Has been going the right way with each of his 3 starts to date, progressing a bit further on his first try at 1m when fifth of 9 in minor event at Ayr (good to soft) 23 days ago. Open to improvement as he makes his handicap debut.
