Showed improved form on the back of a quick turnaround when opening his account in 8-runner Newcastle nursery (7f) last month. Not scaled same heights either start since but this drop back down in class rates a plus.

Kitten's Joy colt who showed more than previously when third on qualifying run at Thirsk (7f) in August but unable to replicate that level when seventh of 8 on nursery debut at Carlisle (6.9f) 16 days ago. Needs to bounce back.

Lightly-raced winner. 4/1, career best when winning 7-runner nursery at this C&D (good to firm) 18 days ago by short head from Due Consideration (the pair clear). 4 lb higher now but possibilities again.

Lightly-raced maiden. Respectable second of 10 in nursery at Kempton (7f, 11/4) 8 days ago, no match for winner. Return to 1m rates a plus and he's one for the shortlist.

DUE CONSIDERATION is 2 lb better off for a short-head defeat by re-opposing Seahorse Syd over C&D last month and, having again run well when runner-up at Kempton 8 days ago, he could well be the answer. The latter-named is a threat nevertheless, with Star of Lazise, back down in grade, and On Borrowed Time also not out of things.
