Improved model this summer, again equipped with cheekpieces when completing the hat-trick at Worcester. Didn't travel through the race at all well but nevertheless put in good late work when a close third at Cartmel (17.2f, soft) recently and the change of headgear (visored) here looks a good move.

Winless since landing a Uttoxeter handicap hurdle back in June 2021 but clearly retains his share of ability, making the frame both starts since returning from a 17-month absence in the spring. Likely to give another good account.

£30,000 buy after finishing second in her sole Irish point and some encouragement when third on hurdling debut at Cartmel. However, failed to build on that next time and was tailed off when falling at the last on subsequent chase debut at Worcester.

Modest hurdler for Gary Moore and well held on first hurdles start for this yard at Uttoxeter in May. On the upside, he performed with credit in a handicap on the Flat recently and each-way chance if able to build on that back in this sphere.

Remains a maiden following 20 attempts under Rules and while his latest fourth in an 11-runner Uttoxeter handicap (2½m, good to soft) was a creditable effort, he's likely to find one or two too good once again.

Point winner who has posted a couple of decent efforts in defeat under Rules, not least when runner-up off an 11 lb higher mark in a Ffos Las handicap chase in October. However, she's hard to warm to judged on efforts in this sphere since returning to action in June.

Well held in maiden/novice hurdles and didn't fare much better when pitched into a handicap on the back of a wind op at Newton Abbot last time.

Belied odds of 40/1 at Uttoxeter last summer but rarely threatened since and, not for the first time, he looked a little reluctant when asked to make his effort back at that venue in July. Others preferred.

It could be worth chancing HILL STATION, who admittedly possesses a rather chequered profile but he put in a good shift when fourth on the Flat at Kempton recently and has been eased 5 lb in the weights since his latest start in this sphere. Nadim has been in fine form this summer and, likely to benefit from the fitting of a visor, he is feared most ahead of Fort de L'Ocean.
