Moulton Nurseries Handicap

Bred in the purple and created a taking impression when making a winning debut in a Doncaster novice (7f, heavy) in April. Yet to build on that but well regarded and not one to give up on after a short break now encountering firmer ground for the first time.

Relished the testing conditions to run out a wide-margin winner in 1m handicap at Doncaster on return. Possibly amiss at York since, though. Back at the scene of his 2-y-o success now.

Progressive, scoring in smooth fashion in novice company at Haydock (1m, good to firm) on her reappearance in May. More to come in handicaps now and lots to like (didn't get a run as a reserve in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last week).

Novice winner at 2 and not seen to best effect this season, still plenty to do over 1f out but finishing well at Chester (7.6f) a fortnight ago. Worth persevering with for top connections and this test should suit.
