Quickly back on the up this season and displayed a determined attitude to add to his tally at Musselburgh (7f) earlier this month. Far from disgraced when midfield in 13-runner York handicap (7f) 11 days ago and no surprise to see him go well again for last year's winning yard.

Ended 2022 in fine form and picked up where he left off with a pair of victories at Redcar and Pontefract. Hard to knock his efforts in defeat since, close-up fourth under change of tactics at Beverley (7.4f) 17 days ago. Respected with any easing of the ground holding no fears.

Finished runner-up to an unexposed sort at Yarmouth 2 starts back and capitalised on his much lower turf mark at Beverley (7.4f) 18 days ago, weaving through to lead close home. Rider's claim off-sets subsequent weight rise and good pace to aim at here will suit.

Low-mileage 5-y-o who stepped up on his reappearance run when getting on top close home at Beverley (8.5f) in April. Similar form when fourth from 2 lb higher mark in Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar (10f) 4 weeks ago and cannot be discounted.

Front runner who opened account for this yard at Kempton (1m) in February. Lightly raced since and bagged first win on turf granted an uncontested lead at Beverley (8.5f) 4 weeks ago. 6 lb higher mark demands more in this deeper affair.

3-time winner at around 1m during a steadily progressive 3-y-o campaign and returned with good second from career-high mark at Redcar (1m, heavy) in April. Good fifth at Hamilton next time but not at best when sixth to Golden Sands at Beverley (8.5f) 4 weeks ago.

Capitalised on much-reduced mark at Brighton (1m) last month and built on that under a well-judged ride to follow up from the front under Hollie Doyle at York (8.8f) 11 days ago. Only 3 lb higher now and entitled to go well again in hat-trick bid.

Excellent start for new yard when landing pair of Wolverhampton handicaps in the spring. Shaped better than bare result at Ripon next time and quickly back to best when chasing home Garden Oasis at Ayr (1m) 15 days ago. Intriguing contender and any rain will suit.

Progressive at 4 but didn't build on a good reappearance run in just 4 outings last season. Easy to back and offered little returning for new yard/on back of 8 months off at York (7f) in May. Others make much more appeal.

Ex-Irish gelding who has steadily improved for Grant Tuer, gaining third career success at Newcastle (1m) on penultimate start in October. Absent since finishing midfield at that venue a month later but worth noting he's gone well fresh previously.

Finished runner-up in a race that is working out well at Pontefract (1m) in May and duly built on that when landing 7-runner Ayr handicap (1m) 2 weeks ago, by length from Painters Palette. 3 lb higher now and he could well face a good deal of competition on the front end.

Improved model for present yard, completing quick-fire hat-trick in handicaps at around 1m at Nottingham in May. Went down only narrowly at Beverley (7.4f) on latest outing 17 days ago and this sort of mark not beyond him on that evidence.

Remains winless in handicap company but comes here in good heart, hitting the frame in pair of Pontefract handicaps (at 1m) during the spring, latterly behind The Cookstown Cafu during early May. Given a break and good showing anticipated.

Fairly useful handicapper who capitalised on career-low mark to shed maiden tag at Southwell (1m), a well-run event on just his second AW start suiting well. Handicapper has reacted but a good pace here will suit, as will any further easing of the ground.

Unsurprisingly claims can be made for most and with that in mind a chance is taken on VACCINE. He ran well when placed in a pair of Pontefract handicaps during the spring and any further easing of the ground will hold no fears on the back of a short break. Painters Palette for Rebecca Menzies, Beverley-scorer United Front and hat-trick seeking Mostawaa head the dangers. The thriving Bashful can't be discounted either if taking up this engagement.
