Back from 5 months off when creditable third of 10 in handicap hurdle (14/1) at Warwick (25f, good to soft) 26 days ago, going with enthusiasm. Entitled to build on that and warrants respect.

Three-time winner in 2021 but run poorly the last twice, latest when pulled up at Exeter in February. Goes well on quick ground, though, and has dropped to a handy mark.

Bounced back to form when taking 12-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f, soft) 15 days ago. 5 lb rise fair and will be a player if handling these faster conditions.

Won at Plumpton (25f) last year but been more miss than hit since and arrives on back of disappointing run at Wincanton last month.

Produced a career best when winning at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good) in July but not matched that form in 4 outings since. Nicely treated if back on song following 6-month absence.

Won over fences here 13 months ago but not threatened since, including in this sphere the last twice. Hard to fancy.
