Won twice at Doncaster (5f) from similar marks last summer but he needs to have come on a lot for his Musselburgh reappearance only 10 days ago.

Successful 3 times on turf last season, latterly at Ascot (5f) in October. Resumed with a solid third in 6f Wolverhampton handicap last month and not disgraced on heavy ground at Doncaster since. Return to likely less testing conditions should be in his favour.

Looked a very useful sprinter in making when completing a hat-trick in 6f Doncaster handicap on his 2020 reappearance last April. Absent since but remains a colt with lots of potential and it'll be very interesting to see how much strength there is behind him in the betting. Has had wind surgery.

Won at Epsom last April and added to his tally at Sandown in August. Did take a few runs to find his form last year, though, so chance he'll need this after 6 months off.

Bagged his second success of 2022 with a career best in 5f handicap on the July Course here last August. Respectable fourth of 14 at Haydock final start. First outing for 6 months.

Won back to back over 5f at Windsor last July. Respectable fourth at Southwell when last seen in November. Much depends on whether he's primed after 5 months off (well held on reappearance last year).

Ploughed through the mud to win a 10-runner Doncaster handicap (5f, heavy) under Billy Loughnane at the start of this month. Hampered start and best not judged on subsequent Pontefract fifth. High on the shortlist.

Three wins from 12 runs last year. Creditable in-frame efforts on AW in recent weeks but remains 4 lb above his highest winning mark.

LIHOU has been in top form on AW this year and is taken to continue the good work back on turf. Ey Up It's Maggie has returned in fine fettle and heads the dangers with Billy Loughnane back in the saddle. Al Barez lacks match practice but is much the least exposed in the line-up and would very much enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in his favour.
