Won 5 times in 2022, the fifth coming at Kempton (24.5f) in November. Not at his best when fading into fourth at Fontwell on Boxing Day and given a break since.

Bumper/maiden hurdle winner in 2020 who scored on return from 15-month absence at Huntingdon (20.7f) on Boxing Day. Disappointed here since, though, and bit to prove now.

Off the mark over fences in handicap at Exeter in March of last year but not gone on from that and ran poorly back in this sphere latest.

Fairly useful ex-French winning hurdler but made little impact on UK debut for new connections at Warwick last month.

Completed a hat-trick sent handicapping in October 2020 (last win here). Seemingly had his problems since, though, and hasn't troubled the judge in 4 starts this term. Tried in cheekpieces now.

Career best when winning 10-runner handicap hurdle at Warwick (19f, soft) 14 days ago, pushed out. 6 lb rise fair and is one for the shortlist.

Backed up his C&D victory in February by easily taking 9-runner handicap hurdle (3/1) at Exeter (21.6f, good to soft) 26 days ago. Raised 7 lb since but looks sure to go well again.

Sole Rules success came over hurdles here last year for Philip Hobbs. Held back by jumping over fences for new yard but was running creditably when unseating late on back in this sphere at Doncaster last month and could be a player.

Made a winning start over hurdles at Chepstow in January 2022 but has been rather underwhelming since, including over fences. However, lack of stamina an excuse back in this sphere latest and top amateur booked now returned to more suitable trip. Engaged 3.30 Fontwell Tuesday.
