£105,000 3-y-o, Saint Des Saints gelding. Had wind op/fitted with tongue tie, best excused debut run when tenth in 15-runner Ludlow bumper on debut back in November, snatched up entering straight. Good chance he can leave that in his wake now switched to hurdles.

Shirocco gelding who stepped up plenty on his bumper debut effort when finishing fifth in 15-runner event at Ludlow (15.7f) in November. Still in touch when unseating 3 out on hurdles bow at Southwell (15.8f) 3 weeks ago and this promises to reveal more.

Signs of ability when third in small-field Fakenham bumper (2m, soft) back in November but not in anything like the same form back from 4 months off at Taunton (16.5f) 26 days ago. Tongue tie fitted on hurdles debut.

Caused a surprise when winning 8-runner Worcester bumper last summer. Mixed bag on the Flat in recent months but definite signs of promise in couple of maidens at up to 20.4f more recently. No surprise to see him in the mix dropped back in trip.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m) who joined new yard for 11,000 gns in October. Related to hurdle winners and the betting may prove the best guide on return/following a wind op.

Fair 2m Flat maiden who comes here in very good nick over hurdles, third in a C&D novices' handicap prior to a solid second in a Plumpton maiden (15.9f) 4 weeks ago. Well worthy of interest in this sort of form.

€40,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park mare. Dam (c97/h89), 2½m chase winner. Hinted at ability when seventh in 10-runner C&D bumper on debut in January, brief headway under 4f out and never on terms. Longer trips may serve her ideally in this sphere.

Tenfold (5/4), Jack The Savage (7/2), Estacas (11/2), Arctic Saint (7/1), State Of Bliss (7/1), Gieves (16/1), Bushtucker Park (33/1), Alright Chap (125/1), Haafbourd (150/1)

15:00 Huntingdon - 28 March 2023 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

TENFOLD has got better with experience over hurdles, running right up to his best when runner-up in a Plumpton maiden 4 weeks ago and a repeat should see him play a lead role once more here. Arctic Saint wasn't seen to best effect on his only start in bumpers late last year and better can be expected now switched to timber, with Jack The Savage completing the shortlist.
