Virgin Bet Fives Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Showed fair form when placed both starts in bumpers and left hurdling debut form behind when scoring at Hereford in November. Good second under a penalty at Doncaster and worthy of respect.

Successful sole outing in Irish points in 2020 and off the mark at the second attempt over hurdles at Exeter. Bettered that when third in Prestige Novices' at Haydock last time and should take all the beating in this company.

Closely related to 2 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser Mulcahys Hill, and half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Penn Lane. Yard is hardly renowned for first-time-out winners and this 5-y-o is probably best watched.

Half-brother to ungenuine but useful hurdler Buckle Street and fair chaser Debden Bank. Held back by inexperience when sixth on debut in a 17-runner Wincanton bumper and showed more when fourth in a novice at Sandown on hurdling bow. Needs to improve.

Maiden Irish pointer who hasn't shown enough as yet to warrant interest in a race like this.

Runner-up on completed start in Irish points (Nov 2021). Cost a fair bit and showed plenty to work on in Chepstow bumper but only fifth in a novice at Plumpton on hurdling debut. Could improve.

Flemensfirth gelding from a good family. Runner-up in Irish points at second attempt and forged clear to land 5-runner bumper at Uttoxeter. Fairly useful form so far over hurdles and merits respect.
