Cazoo Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Irish point winner looked good prospect when making winning start under Rules in a Uttoxeter bumper in March 2021. After a 20-month absence he made a successful hurdle debut at Ffos Las in November. Well beaten pitched into Grade 1 company at Newbury since but leading claims with sights lowered.

Has enjoyed plenty of success for this yard but kept busy and has found life tough lately.

Fair form when placed on all 4 bumper starts and made a winning start to his hurdle career in a 19f course novice in October. Capable of better and another bold show looks assured.

Poor form in bumpers/novice hurdles. Star Flyer looks very much the yard first string.

Maiden pointer who exceeded market expectations when fifth on Newbury hurdle debut last March but has pulled up on both outings since.

Well held in 2 bumpers in December ahead of this switch to hurdles.

Beaten a long way in a bumper and maiden hurdle before Christmas. Big outsider.

Placed on completed start in Irish points back in May but down the field in a bumper and novice hurdle under Rules. Clearly still early days but can only be watched for now.

Reached the frame in both bumpers and ran to a fair level when 9 lengths third in Newcastle novice hurdle a month ago. A repeat of that form should see him on the premises here.

Pulled up in novice hurdle at Wincanton (2m) on debut 30 days ago, labouring from circuit out. Significantly up in trip.
