Fair on Flat in 2020, scoring twice including at this course, and shaped well on hurdles bow also here (15.7f) in January of that year. However, was off for 2 and a half years prior to his latest outing, pulled up in maiden hurdle at Sedgefield last month.

Made frame both starts in Irish points but shaped as if amiss on hurdles bow at Wetherby in December. Always behind at Ayr the following month and he makes little appeal back up in trip.

Fair maiden at best on Flat. Finished third in pair of juvenile events at this course (15.7f) sent hurdling for current connections, before seemingly unsuited by conditions when below-par at Ayr (2m, heavy) last time. Could fare better.

Hold Up La Colmine (4/6), Swallows Song (9/4), Ballygeary (6/1), Cuzco Du Mathan (6/1), Agilulf (14/1), Calevade (33/1), Lights Are Green (50/1), Stand Staunch (66/1), Derwent Dealer (80/1), Hapy La Vie (100/1)

13:40 Catterick - 3 February 2023 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

HOLD UP LA COLMINE has made the frame in all 3 starts over hurdles so far, with the form of his Chepstow fourth on Rules debut working out well (the first 3 have all won since), so he is taken to get off the mark this time around. Swallows Song showed encouragement on his hurdles debut last time and is feared most, ahead of Ballygeary.
