Fairly useful Irish bumper winner for Charles O'Brien. Made a successful start for his new stable in 16-runner Huntingdon novice hurdle (2m, good to soft) 29 days ago. Did that impressively and looks sure to make a bold bid to defy his penalty.

Fairly useful on Flat but might be more one for handicaps in this sphere based on his 2 runs in novice hurdles last month (C&D latterly).

Struggled in bumpers but showed clear ability when third of 9 in maiden at Fakenham (2m, good to soft) on hurdles bow 68 days ago. That form is only modest, though, and a good deal more will be required here.

Scopey sort who cost plenty and he's made a promising start over hurdles, bumping into a smart prospect from the Henderson yard at Cheltenham last time. Surely only a matter of time before he goes one better.

Useful handicapper on Flat (stays 2¼m), winning in the mud at Nottingham in October. Made a sound start to his hurdle career when 4 lengths second in a C&D novice 13 days ago. Likely capable of better.

Quite useful in bumpers. Found only one too good on his 2m Stratford hurdle debut in October but he failed to build on that when only sixth at Kempton (2m again) since.

Fair maiden on Flat earlier in his career but only poor form on his completed start over hurdles. Hansard looks very much the yard first string.
