If able to at least reproduce the form of his latest effort at Punchestown, SONNY MAY may well be the answer to a maiden bigger on quantity than quality. He promises to be suited by this stiffer test and gets the nod ahead of Buddy One, who also stepped up on what he's previously shown when sixth at Navan last time. Desert Heather hasn't shown much in 3 previous starts under Rules (all over fences) but she's been in good form in points of late and merits respect on this hurdles debut.
