Age: 8|  Weight: 11-10| J: Lorcan Williams| T: J Scott| OR:  139| C
9/2
Useful handicap hurdler who confirmed promise of her chasing debut when comfortably landing the odds in 3-runner novice at Fontwell (19.5f) in November. Better to come and very much the type to make her mark now handicapping in this sphere.

10/3
Successful Irish pointer/hurdler who made an impressive winning start to life over fences on the back of a breathing operation in 3-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (22.5f) in November, eased right down having led by 10 lengths at last. Sure to go on to better things.

15/8
Fair bumper/hurdles winner who proved a different proposition sent chasing (in a tongue strap) after 7 months off when impressive winner of 5-runner handicap at Kempton (20.5f) 49 days ago. That wasn't much of a race but she's open to plenty of improvement.

5/1
Useful hurdler in France who ended frustrating run of seconds for present yard with small-field victories over hurdles/fences at up to 20f this autumn. Remained in form whilst highlighting revised mark looks about right since but fancied to continue in form.

7/1
Likeable mare who enhanced good record fresh when taking 5-runner mares' handicap hurdle (2m 5f) here in November. Not disgraced but proved no match for the winner on chasing bow at Huntingdon (19.8f) but her 100% record here is worth noting.

11/1
Fairly useful hurdler who won on her reappearance over 17f last season. Mixed bag followed thereafter and whilst she shaped as if retaining her ability on return at Exeter 5 weeks ago, this rates a tough enough chase debut.

Multiple hurdles winner, the latest at Newton Abbot (18.5f) in June. Things haven't exactly gone to plan in that sphere since and others make greater appeal now her sights are set on the larger obstacles.

Forecasts

Tweed Skirt (15/8), Eureka Creek (10/3), Kissesforkatie (9/2), Fortunes Melody (5/1), Wynn House (7/1), Volkovka (11/1), Peltwell (40/1)

12:18 Wincanton - 26 December 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

TWEED SKIRT proved a different proposition when making a winning return/chase debut at Kempton 7 weeks ago, jumping/travelling well and quickening clear impressively. She's one to be firmly interested in and gets the nod to defy a 10 lb rise, with Eureka Creek and Kissesforkatie, who have also made very good starts in this sphere, much respected.
