Hurdles winner in France who won 3 on the bounce between the flags during the spring and made an impressive debut for Tim Vaughan in small-field Chepstow handicap (23.6f, good) last month. Not so good following a 7 lb rise at Ludlow 8 days ago but can bounce back.

Scored at Taunton last November but added to a patchy record when well held over C&D when last seen 6 months ago. Back down to his last winning mark but probably best watched on first start since leaving Paul Nicholls.

Winner of first 2 handicaps in spring 2021. Good reappearance third at Newbury last season but followed it with 3 below-par runs subsequently and now attentions are switched to chasing for his return/yard debut.

Won first 5 starts over fences and would've pushed the winner close but for an uncharacteristic late mistake at Bangor in August. Luckless at Kempton last month and found things all too competitive just 5 days later at Cheltenham. One to consider back in calmer waters for in-form yard.

In top form when completing a hat-trick around 3m between April and June. Went off the boil with 2 pulled-up efforts in July but seemed to take a step back in the right direction after a 12-week break when third at Kempton last month (albeit flattered by his proximity).

Finally got off the mark in Cartmel handicap chase in August 2020. Raced just 3 times for Jonjo O'Neill and showed nothing on first outing for his new yard at Bangor last month. Easy to look elsewhere.

Hurdles winner who matched pick of form in that sphere when finishing runner-up in pair of a novice handicap chases in May. Unseated rider at the first on his return at Fontwell last month but he should be thereabouts granted a clear round.

Having finished runner-up on both starts over fences back in the spring, WETANWINDY got no further than the first on return at Fontwell last month. Milton Harris' charge is fancied to put that minor blip behind him and go a place better today. Second choice is Go On Chez, who found things too competitive at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago, with Galop du Bosc rounding off the shortlist.
