Came good in bumpers at Stratford in September and followed up on Newton Abbot hurdle debut 23 days later, with the reopposing Robert Walpole 18 lengths behind in fourth. Open to improvement.

Has sometimes been too headstrong for her own good over hurdles it's all come together with ready all-the-way wins at Huntingdon and Ludlow in recent weeks. Good chance on form, although any easing of the ground may count against this speedy type.

Showed plenty of ability on debut when runner-up in bumper at Chepstow February 2021 but has been rather disappointing in a lighly career since, including on recent Newton Abbot hurdle debut after 18 months off.

Mount Nelson gelding who showed clear signs of ability when fourth in a pair of Doncaster bumpers at the beginning of the year. Set to run to a modest level when falling at the last in Huntingdon novice hurdle won by Kingston Sunflower on reappearance 20 days ago.

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m). Should clearly have the ability to make an impact over hurdles but he shaped like a non-stayer when fading into fourth on his first attempt at Newton Abbot 35 days ago.

Well-bred 5-y-o who ran to a fair level in bumpers last season. Similar form when second on Bangor hurdle debut/reappearance 33 days ago. Cheekpieces added. May do better with that outing behind him.

Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1¾m), winning twice at Leicester this summer. Finished 15 lengths behind the reopposing Stroll On By on his Bangor hurdle debut last month but he can be expected to improve for the experience.

Made a winning start to his career in a Bangor bumper in April. Respected now hurdling on his return to action.

Fair maiden on Flat for Richard Hannon. Barely modest form in 2 outings over hurdles for current yard (remote third to Kingston Sunflower at Huntingdon latterly) and possible more one for handicaps.

Signs of ability in bumper/novice hurdles but perhaps isn't going to be of real interest until he's contesting handicaps.

Fair on Flat (stays 1¼m). 66/1, pulled too hard for his own good when remote fifth on his Chepstow hurdle debut 24 days but he could improve if settling better this time.

In a novice with an open look to it, a chance is taken on bumper-winner BERTIE B making a successful switch to hurdles. Sea The Clouds should have more to come on the back of his Newton Abbot hurdle debut win last month and is feared most ahead of The Scorpion King. It's all clicked for Kingston Sunflower recently but she looks all speed so rain in the forecast is a slight concern.
