Shaped with promise when making late gains on debut at Lingfield (6f, AW) in June, staying on into fourth after a tardy start. Improvement should be forthcoming but he'll find easier opportunities than this.

Newbury debut was hardly laden with promise but he took a sizeable step forward when third in a 10-runner C&D maiden at the beginning of the month. That form is already working out well (fourth and fifth have both won since) and he's clearly the one to beat.

Foaled May 27. 5,500 gns yearling. Half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 1¼m Law Power and useful winner up to 11.6f Perfect Clarity. Yard seldom strikes with newcomers nowadays and this one is likely to need more time and distance.

Foaled April 22. Half-brother to 5f-7f winner Arguia. Dam once-raced half-sister to useful winner up to 1m Love Roi. Will only be of significant interest on debut if the market vibes are notably upbeat.

Foaled May 3. 75,000 gns yearling. Closely related to very smart winner up to 2m Dashing Willoughby and half-brother to 1½m winner Loving Dash, in addition to the useful 1¼m-1½m winner Omniscient. Well worth a second look in the betting.

Foaled April 12. €40,000 foal, 30,000 gns yearling. Closely related to French 1¼m winner Beaux Villages. Yard's newcomers typically come on for a run and it's likely that this colt will do just that.

Foaled January 18. €70,000 yearling. Brother to 2-y-o 1m winner Lesson Learned. Dam unraced half-sister to 2-y-o 5f winner (stayed 6f) Danehill Brook. Represents leading 2-y-o yard and very much one to note in the betting.

Foaled March 27. Cable Bay colt. Half-brother to useful 7f-1m winner Yanifer. Yard's strike rate with 2-y-os on turf this season is pretty modest and others make more appeal.

Out with the washing on his recent introduction at Newcastle and will need to leave that form well behind if he's to make an impact in this maiden.

Debut effort at Windsor (6f, good to firm) wasn't completely devoid of promise and that experience won't be wasted on him. Still, will need to up his game considerably if he's to play a leading role.

The form of the C&D maiden in which BODORGAN was a close third has subsequently received a couple of boosts and he is likely to prove hard to beat with Ryan Moore doing the steering. Ben Dikduk can be expected to step up on his debut effort in due course but the selection may have most to fear from likely-looking newcomers Sceptic and Marcolini, both of whom tick plenty of the right boxes on paper.
