Thrice-raced winner. 2/5, won 6-runner maiden at Hamilton (5f, good) 21 days ago, easily. It's unlikely that the penalty will prevent him from going in again.

Foaled April 29. 35,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel colt. Dam winner up to 1m (2-y-o 5f winner) who stayed 1¼m. Yard saddles the occasional winning newcomer and it'll be interesting to see what the market has to say.

Once-raced maiden. Tongue strap on, fifth of 9 in minor event at this course (6f, good, 17/2) on debut 51 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps further down the line.

Foaled April 28. Dariyan colt. Half-brother to several winners, including 5f winner Autumn Trail and 8.6f winner Back On The Trail. Dam lightly raced. Doesn't appeal as a probable first-time-out winner.

Once-raced maiden. 66/1, last of 9 in minor event at this C&D (good) on debut. Off 6 months and it's best to look elsewhere.

Once-raced maiden. Last of 5 in minor event (5/1) at Salisbury (5f, good to firm) on debut in May. In good hands and it'd be no surprise were she to step up on that here.

Fair filly. 5/4, creditable second of 8 in minor event at Chelmsford City (5f) 11 days ago, running on. Likely to give another good account but she's starting to look a tad exposed and connections now reach for a visor.

Forecasts

Proverb (1/2), Radio Goo Goo (5/2), Lulworth Cove (10/1), Desert Fighter (12/1), Must Catch Up (16/1), Once Adaay (33/1), Ferrous (40/1), Empire Of The Sun (66/1), Dropskipandump (200/1), Get Busy (200/1), Kwiz (200/1)

13:50 Windsor - 17 October 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

It's hard to oppose PROVERB, who blitzed his rivals from the front on his first crack at the minimum trip in a Hamilton maiden 3 weeks ago. Radio Goo Goo has made the frame on all but one of her 7 starts but she's starting to look rather exposed and likely-improver Lulworth Cove is preferred for forecast purposes. The market should point the way with regard to newcomers Ferrous and Must Catch Up.
