Fairly useful winner on the Flat who took well to hurdles last term, scoring for third time in 2m Newbury handicap in April. One to consider for his in-form yard on his comeback start.

Dual Flat winner who made a successful start over hurdles at Kempton (2m) last October. Signed off with a good sixth on his handicap debut at Ascot (2m) in March so he merits serious consideration on his return after a wind op.

Scored on his sole start in France but proved too headstrong all four runs in Britain for Tom Symonds, having a wind op before coming in a well-held eighth in 2m Warwick handicap in May. Lots more needed on his reappearance/yard debut.

Has taken his form up a notch this season, scoring at Stratford in August before fourth over C&D last month when set plenty to do. Strong traveller who can go well again.

Fair 1m winner on the level for Ed Dunlop who scored twice over C&D for his current yard early in 2022. Yard is going well so he's not ruled out despite a seven-month absence.

A tightly-knit handicap in which marginal preference is for OVERPRICED MIXER who ended last season with a good Ascot sixth on his handicap debut and returns after a wind op on a handy-looking mark. In-form Sergeant has his fitness proven and is greatly feared though, while the Gary Moore-trained duo Mark of Gold and Tara Iti need factoring in too.
