Has made all the last twice, showing a willing attitude at Kelso on latest. Remains well treated on old form and this presents a good opportunity to complete the hat-trick.

Bumper winner who posted his best effort over hurdles when second in 18.5f Exeter handicap in February. Failed to meet expectations sent chasing at Plumpton back in March but he's one to look out for on reappearance (surely capable of better).

Won at Cartmel in July but has failed to match that in both subsequent starts in this sphere, seeming to find it too much of a test of speed when tailed-off last at Uttoxeter a fortnight ago. Back up in trip today and expected to fare better.

In the frame on both appearances in points and pair of fourth-placed finishes in novices. Failed to improve over a much longer trip on handicap debut at Wincanton in March and now attentions are switched to the larger obstacles.

Well held in novice hurdles, leaving Philip Kirby prior to penultimate start. Unable to meet expectations (sweated up badly beforehand) sent chasing after 8 months off when well-beaten in a match at Wetherby on Wednesday so percentage call is best to look elsewhere.

Progressive from low base over timber and continued that theme to make a winning chase debut at this course in April. Pulled up at Hexham next time but shaped well after 4 months off faced with a barely adequate test at this track last month. Respected back over fences.

Fairly useful in bumpers but underwhelmed over hurdles and having been sold from Dan Skelton £3,500 in May, finished last of 6 on chase debut at Hexham (15.6f, good to soft) 8 days ago. Step up in trip in his favour but tough to fancy.

Hurdles winner who opened chase account at Ayr (20.5f) in November 2020. Winless subsequently but shaped a bit better than the distance beaten suggested when fifth at Perth last month, likely to have finished third if not for a late error. Could feature.

Winner at Kelso in January and ran up to best when runner-up over the extended 3¼m at this venue. Pulled up on last couple of outings (first one over timber) which makes him tough to support after 5 months off the track.

Forecasts

Twilight Glory (9/4), Myburg (16/5), Raecius Felix (4/1), Bari Breeze (13/2), Big Changes (15/2), Darius Des Sources (16/1), To The Limit (16/1), Quiet Flow (22/1), Glan Y Gors (33/1)

14:05 Sedgefield - 16 October 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The hat-trick beckons for RAECIUS FELIX, who put in a pair of gutsy displays from the front last month, and Rebecca Menzies' charge remains well treated on old form. He can get the better of course-winner Myburg, who shaped well when third faced with a barely adequate test here on reappearance last month and has to be respected back over the larger obstacles. Bari Breeze may prove best of the remainder.
