£40,000 2-y-o, Kessaar colt. 18/1, sixth of 11 in minor event at Carlisle (5.8f, good) on debut 21 days ago, weakening gradually. Entitled to come on for that and no surprise to see an improved showing.

Frankel colt who proved friendless in betting but stepped up markedly on his debut effort when finishing 2.5 lengths fourth in valuable 17-runner York maiden (7f) 4 weeks ago. One to consider on the back of that.

Foaled February 3. 52,000 gns yearling, Dandy Man colt. Brother to 6f winner Tothenines and half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 6f May Remain and 8.6f winner Ultimate Star. Yard have enjoyed a fine campaign with juveniles and he's one to note on debut.

450,000 gns Showcasing colt who found the penny dropping late on (well backed) when fifth in a Redcar novice (6f) on debut in July. Showed a bit more still pitched into Group 2 Gimcrack 4 weeks ago and likely there is more to come (has plenty about him physically).

Foaled April 12. £4,000 yearling, Farhh colt. Dam 7f-1m winner who stayed 1¼m out of useful 10.3f winner Sues Surprise. Yard wouldn't be a regular source of winning newcomers.

Harry Angel colt who offered plenty to work on when 5 lengths fifth of 12 in a newcomers' maiden at Haydock (6f) 39 days ago, without being knocked about. Very much the type to improve. Up in trip.

BALTIC VOYAGE was friendless in the betting but stepped up plenty on his spring debut effort when fourth in a strong York maiden (7f) 4 weeks ago and he gets the nod to build on that and come out on top. Chuzzlewit will find this easier than his Gimcrack assignment and is a live threat however, along with Time Traveller. Beyond Reproach may emerge best of the newcomers.
