Fetched 80,000 gns as a yearling and shaped with encouragement when sixth in a 15-runner Glorious Goodwood maiden on debut (7f, good to firm). Well worth a second look with improvement on the cards.

Positives to glean from Newmarket debut (6f, good to firm) and clearly found things happening too quickly dropped to 5f at Glorious Goodwood next time. This trip will be more her bag and improvement could be forthcoming.

Lots to like on paper and while she was never in the hunt on debut at Glorious Goodwood where she looked very green, that experience won't be wasted on her and she's surely capable of a good deal better.

Foaled March 7. 12,000 gns yearling. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to useful 1¼m winner Aunt Julia. Yard is hardly synonymous with winning newcomers and she's pitched into what looks a pretty warm maiden.

Foaled January 30. 65,000 gns foal, 75,000 gns yearling. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to useful 2-y-o 9f/1¼m winner Wonderment. Yard's strike rate with juveniles is very modest and she's probably best watched on this occasion.

Ultimately failed to land a meaningful blow on recent debut at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm), but it was a promising introduction all the same (considerately handled) and she can be expected to build on that here.

Started to get the hang of things late in the piece when fourth in a 15-runner Newbury maiden (7f, good to firm) on debut last month. Likely to do better in time, particularly when faced with a stiffer test.

KIngman filly out of a 1¼m-1½m winner, including at listed level. Pedigree suggests that she'll be a decent middle-distance prospect for next season, but represents a leading yard and it'll be interesting to see which way she goes in the betting.

Signs of ability first time out at Lingfield (7f, good), but subsequent Kempton effort hardly represented a step in the right direction and newcomer Queen Fleur is presumably the stable first-string.

Bettered debut display when third of nine in a 1m Lingfield novice (AW) a fortnight ago. Another step forward will be needed here, but that's entirely possible and she's a live each-way candidate.

This represents a good opportunity for AUNT VIOLET, who has shown plenty of promise in novice events at Newbury and Ascot and, evidently held in high regard (entered in the Rockfel and Fillies' Mile), there should be better to come now that she steps up to 7f. Cruise was understandably taken off her feet over 5f at Glorious Goodwood and, also likely to benefit from this stiffer test, she is next on the list ahead of the Godolphin duo, Catch A Star and Tomouh Dubai.
