Musselburgh debut winner who resumed progress sporting first-time cheekpieces to make a winning nursery debut at York last month. Ran at least as well in defeat upped to this trip when fifth at Goodwood just over 2 weeks ago so expected to be firmly in the mix.

Comfortably made a winning start in 5f Carlisle novice in May and bounced back from Royal Ascot flop when third on nursery debut at Haydock last month. Didn't handle this track that well when down the field a fortnight ago but this step up in trip is at least in her favour.

Probably didn't need to do much more than repeat her Sandown fifth to get off the mark upped to 6f at Salisbury just over a fortnight ago. Upped further in distance today for her handicap debut and worthy of a market check.

Poet's Word filly who improved to make a winning nursery debut at Doncaster 9 days ago, suited by the step up to 7f to lead final 1f. Nudged up 3 lb for that success and no surprise should she be involved again today.

Didn't need to improve to get off the mark in a Lingfield maiden a fortnight ago, making most and forging clear approaching final 1f. Opening mark looks fair and she could well have a say in proceedings.

A tricky contest to unravel despite the small field but preference is for MISS JUNGLE CAT. Karl Burke's filly had no issues with the step up to 7f when finishing a close fifth at Goodwood just over a fortnight ago and, up against just the four rivals today, she looks the one to side with. Zabbie opened her account on handicap debut at Doncaster last week and she shades the vote for second over Bonnsie.
