Partnered by Brian Hughes for the first time when getting off the mark over C&D in June and made it back-to-back successes in thin, small-field handicaps around here just under 6 weeks ago. Should be bang there in his hat-trick bid.

Has yet to match his winning hurdles form in three runs in this sphere, another wind operation failing to spark a revival when finishing a remote fourth of 5 at Uttoxeter (24f, good to soft, 11/2) 22 days ago. Mark continues to tumble.

Looked limited in Ireland, but positive start for new yard when runner-up at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in May. Seems to have completely lost her form since so has it all to prove now.

Gained his breakthrough win at Hexham last August and matched that level when placed next 2 starts at up to 25f. Shaped as if better for the run when sixth at Southwell back in June and he's worth a market check ahead of this chase debut.

Long-standing maiden for Francis Flood in Ireland who fared much better than previously in this sphere on just his second start for current connections when third at Uttoxeter in June. Task is now building on that effort today.

Winless since bumper debut when trained in Ireland but more encouraging signs when sixth at Worcester last month. Proving frustrating but could put it all together back over the larger obstacles from a career-low mark.

Improved to open his account sporting a first-time visor at Huntingdon in May but didn't jump with the same fluency at Worcester a couple weeks later. Ran respectably on form without convincing with his finishing effort at Stratford last month so others look more appealing.

Resumed with hurdle win at Worcester in May but yet to reach that level on his first couple of starts over fences, latest when fifth at Stratford last month. Remains early days so he could take a step forward now stepped significantly up in trip.

Winless after 20 runs, sent off at single-figure odds for the fifth time in a row when pulled up at Cartmel just over 7 weeks ago (lame). Tongue tie applied today but percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Seemed stretched by the longer trip when fourth on chasing debut (from 1 lb out of weights) at Cartmel 4 weeks ago. Needs to brush up on his jumping but no surprise should he leave that effort behind now tried at a more suitable distance.

Sole success came at this track back in 2018 but finished well held on the Flat 18 days ago and faces another struggle from well out of the weights.

Forecasts

Train Hill (11/4), Abington Park (7/2), Prince Of Bad Lins (11/2), Who's The Guv'nor (11/2), Go All The Way (8/1), Red Maple (12/1), Yaazaain (12/1), Goldrapper (16/1), Decoration Of War (22/1), Eightytwo Team (66/1), L'Es Fremantle (150/1)

18:40 Market Rasen - 13 August 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Who's The Guv'nor is sure to be popular to bring up a C&D hat-trick but at the likely prices preference is for TRAIN HILL. Charlie Longsdon's charge continues to frustrate his supporters but, having been given chance by the handicapper for this return to chasing, he's fancied to come out on top. The aforementioned Who's The Guv'nor heads up the opposition, with an improved effort from Prince Of Bad Lins also anticipated.
