Finally got off the mark after a series of runner-up efforts when winning 9-runner handicap (7/2) at this C&D (good to firm) 7 days ago, staying on to lead final strides. Dropped in grade and fancied to be in the mix now up and running.

Course winner. 25/1, fifth of 10 in handicap at Epsom (12f, good) 13 days ago. Signalled that a return to form could be around the corner on her penultimate outing and she could well build on that here back down in trip.

Remains a maiden after 20 Flat runs. Easy-to-back 11/1, bit below form sixth of 10 in minor event at Southwell (12.1f). Off 4 months. Others more persuasive.

Low-grade stuff. STAR OF ST LOUIS snapped a string of runner-up efforts to get off the mark over C&D last week, and now dropped into classified company here, Denis Quinn's charge looks to have stronger credentials than most. Kelapa shaped up well for a long way at Bath a fortnight ago so she's put forward as the main threat, ahead of Jack d'Or.
