Fairly useful hurdler/chase for Dan Skelton who was having his second start for this yard when taking a 2m Stratford hunter chase. However, well held back in handicap company at Newton Abbot recently. Engaged 8.00 Newton Abbot Thursday.

Useful chaser earlier in his career. Not so good nowadays but latest second of 5 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (20f, good to soft, 13/2) 13 days ago was his best effort for a while.

Winning hurdler when with Gordon Elliott in 2020. Successful 4 times over fences subsequently, including in claimer at Auteuil on sole outing for E. Lyon in October. Similar form when third of 4 at Aintree on debut for this yard 12 days ago, let down by his jumping a touch.

Useful hurdler at best but hasn't shown much to be positive about recently, again below par at Ludlow last month. No surprise to see blinkers reached for returned to chasing.

Ended last season with 2 alarmingly poor runs and not much encouragement at Stratford on return.

Fairly useful hurdles winner who ran his best race over fences when second of 4 at Ffos Las on return last month. Still needs to improve his jumping and headgear now applied.

Won back-to-back handicaps over C&D last summer, including this race. Lost his way next 3 starts but bounced back with a bang when scoring with plenty in hand at Ludlow last month. Can follow up.

ELIOS D'OR returned to form to score in emphatic fashion at Ludlow last month and is taken to repeat last year's success in this. Ecu de la Noverie showed a bit more encouragement from his reduced mark at Uttoxeter so is next best ahead of Texard, who made a respectable start for this yard at Aintree.
