El Kabeir gelding who showed promise on qualifying run at Redcar (7f) in November and improved further when runner-up on return/handicap debut here (1m) in May, keeping on. Step up to 1¼m promises to suit and he may yet have more to offer.

Improved for the step up to 1¼m in recent weeks, closed down only late on as he made it 2 wins from last 3 starts at Leicester 17 days ago. That form looks solid enough and claims once more despite 6 lb higher mark to contend with.

Fair filly who proved no match for winner but ran on to good effect when second in an Ayr maiden (7.2f) on yard debut in April. Similar form when fourth at Beverley 4 weeks ago but longer trip needs to bring about some improvement.

Golden Horn filly who looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind, promise without threatening when sixth on return behind subsequent Oaks' third Nashwa in a 1m novice here in April. Interesting now handicapping up in trip.

Well-bred sort who displayed some promise in a trio of AW maidens in Ireland for Joseph O'Brien. Joined another yard that does well with such types and interesting what the market makes of him now handicapping.

Intello half-sister to 1¼m winner Super Proud. Dam, 2-y-o 1m winner who stayed 1½m. Didn't build on debut effort in a Nottingham maiden (8.3f) in November in 2 subsequent outings last winter but she is in top hands and longer trip could unlock some progress now handicapping on return.

Minor promise in trio of novice events and, despite being unfancied in betting, took a sizable step forward when second in a first-time visor on handicap bow at Hamilton (9f) 2 weeks ago. Winner that day has scored twice since and she's respected despite 4 lb higher mark.

Promise initially at 2 yrs but didn't kick on thereafter last autumn and he's failed to beat a rival having been gelded/had wind op in 2 outings so far this campaign. Visor needs to have big effect now.

205,000 son of Invincible Spirit who shaped with encouragement when 3 lengths fifth of 13 in a Southwell maiden (1m) in April. Long way below that level in pair of turf events subsequently but he does at least now get a crack at handicaps. Up in trip.

Garswood filly. Dam, maiden (stayed 1½m). Stepped up on debut form when second in a Brighton maiden (7f) in September, just failing to reel in one who had the run of things. Below that level at Kempton (1m) final start but returns with yard going very well.

Profitable colt who hasn't gone without promise in novice/maiden events over 1m this spring. In good hands and interesting what the market makes of him now handicapping/tackling this longer trip for the first time.

19:55 Haydock - 9 June 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

ARYAAH has found some improvement for the step up to this sort of trip of late, making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts at Leicester 17 days ago, closed down only late on having gone clear. He looks sure to go well again and earns the vote. Just A Tad is interesting for her powerful stable now handicapping and is feared along with Chips And Rice. Drill To Dream, who ran a cracker at long odds at Hamilton latest, completes the shortlist.
