Disapponted when last of 8 at Haydock 11 days ago but he'd had a productive spell prior to that, winning twice at up to 1m. No surprise to see him bounce straight back to form.

Showed ability in 3 qualifying runs over 7f/1m this spring. Only ninth of 17 on 7f York handicap debut last month but that was a competitive Class 4 event and he should find life a bit easier at this level. Return to 1m should also help.
