Finally opened his account on return from 10-month absence here (2m) in April. Undone by bad mistake 4 out at Worcester next time and wasn't quite at his best when third back at this venue last week. Needs a bit more stepping back up in distance.

Hurdles winner for Tim Reed last season and stepped up on chasing debut when third here (2m) in March, despite looking unsuited by emphasis on speed. Has failed to build on that promise both starts since, but it's still relatively early days and this could be more his trip.

Has been operating below best of late over hurdles and ran to just a poor level sent chasing when second in 6-runner handicap at Newton Abbot (21f, soft) 8 days ago, no match for winner. Blinkers back on.
