Well held in pair of maidens in recent weeks so very hard to warm to.

Le Havre colt who showed ability amidst greenness when last of 4 in maiden (5/2) at Salisbury (12f, good to firm) on debut 18 days ago, ideally needing a stronger gallop. Sure to progress and looks the main danger to the reopposing Valsad.

Improved despite not being seen to best effect when second of 4 in maiden at Salisbury (12f, good to firm, 11/2) 18 days ago, ideally needing stiffer test. With further progress on the cards, he's hard to oppose.

Forecasts

Valsad (1/3), Havaila (10/3), Olympic Dream (9/1), Dirty Barry (200/1)

13:55 Lingfield - 19 May 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

VALSAD found further progress despite not being seen to best effect when finishing runner-up at Salisbury earlier this month and, with improvement on the cards, he can open his account. Havaila was a couple of places behind the selection that day and, with Sir Michael Stoute's charge sure to have derived plenty from that initial outing, he rates as the obvious danger.
