Quite useful at 2 but he was highly tried on occasions and that has given the handicapper plenty to go on. Will need improvement from this opening mark.
Looked yet another very useful prospect for his top stable when winning 1m maiden/novice events on AW at the end of 2021. Surely more to come and strongly fancied to remain unbeaten.
Won 1m Southwell handicap on return in March. Last of 15 in handicap at Newmarket's Craven meeting 5 weeks later but he may get back on track in these calmer waters. Hooded first time.
Course winner over 9.5f in November. Respectable sixth of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (1m, good, 22/1) 17 days ago, although he didn't help his cause by refusing to settle.

Forecasts
Yonafis (11/10), Aswan (3/1), Sweeping (4/1), Tropez Power (17/2), Nasim (11/1)
An opening handicap mark in the high 80s could underestimate YONAFIS who is taken to stretch his unbeaten record to 3 on his return to action. Aswan, a winner at Glorious Goodwood last summer, could be the one to give William Haggas' charge most to do.
