Some promise first 2 starts over hurdles before falling early at Kelso. Let down by jumping on handicap debut but better effort (in cheekpieces) when runner-up at Ayr (24,3f) last time. Major player.

Long-standing maiden. Had generally been holding form well prior to running below form on his last 2 starts, including when upped to 3m for the first time at Ayr on his latest outing.

Remains a maiden, but he ran about his best race to date when fourth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Musselburgh (19.8f) in March. However, only sixth of 10 here (20.2f) 19 days ago.

Still a maiden but has been going through a good spell of late, placed on her last 3 starts. Edged out only close home when runner-up at Hexham in March and was a respectable third at Ayr 29 days ago.

Stout pedigree and relished the step up to 23.3f when opening her account at Hexham in March. Better than bare result when well held fourth at Kelso last time, though equally didn't see out her race.

Down the field on the Flat on stable debut in March. In 1st time cheekpieces, showed a bit more when third of 6 in novice hurdle at Hexham (23.3f) but below par next time. Makes handicap hurdle debut.

Displayed ability in bumpers for Ronald O'Neill but remains with little form over hurdles for current yard, often failing to impress with his jumping.

Little impact in 2m maiden/novice hurdles, but improved form when fourth on handicap debut at Southwell (24.3f). That was a falsely-run race though so needs to be able to build on that effort.

Has fared better upped in trip switched to handicap company on her last 2 starts, staying on to finish third in mares event at Ayr (21.4f) last month. The extra distance should suit here. Can go well.

From a modest Flat family and has shown little in 4 starts over hurdles so far. Cheekpieces on 1st time as he makes handicap debut.

Produced best effort so far when sixth of 10 in handicap at Ayr (20.4f) 8 days ago. However, had the advantage of an easy lead that day so improvement needed in 1st time tongue tie.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN produced his best effort yet when runner-up at Ayr last time and he can build on that run to go one better. His jumping was much better in cheekpieces and he went down by only a nose, so with further progress to come he can make his third start in handicaps a winning one. Gustav's Dream is feared most upped in trip, while Your Place has been holding her form well of late.
