Foaled February 12. €16,000 foal, 9,000 gns yearling. Dam sprint maiden half-sister to smart 7f/1m winner Temptress out of useful winner up to 6f (including at 2 yrs) Femme Fatale. Worth a second look in the betting.

Twice-raced filly. 3/1, eleventh of 14 in minor event at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 6 days ago. That was a disappointing effort, but leading chance judged on debut third at Kempton last month.

Foaled February 15. £12,000 yearling. Half-sister to winner up to 6f Ocean Sheridan and 9f-11f winner Deauville Shower, both useful. Top yard can ready a newcomer and she needs close attention in the betting.

Forecasts

Favourite Queen (6/5), Coraje (9/2), Mai Alward (11/2), Sherman Klumpf (17/2), Topo Chico (10/1), Land Of Summer (12/1), Clear To Land (20/1), Confederation (33/1)

17:00 Brighton - 27 April 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This looks destined for one of the newcomers, with FAVOURITE QUEEN, Land of Summer and Mai Alward the most appealing of them. Needless to say, the market will be informative but, as things stand, preference is for Favourite Queen, who boasts a decent pedigree and her yard struck with a 2-y-o newcomer at Ayr on Monday. Coraje is the clear pick of the trio with experience.
