Martaline mare who offered very little in a bumper but showed much more sent hurdling 4 months later when third at Wincanton a fortnight ago. Sure to progress, so one for the shortlist.

Mahler mare. Half-sister to a winner in Italy. Dam unraced out of fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser (2m winner) Delayed. Placed completed start in Irish points, pulled up last time (Feb 6).

Schiaparelli filly who has made little impact in novice/maiden hurdle so tough to see her featuring.

Out of a winning hurdler and offered a good deal of encouragement when second in an Aintree bumper in October. Maybe found race coming too soon next time and she's an interesting hurdling debutante.

Definite encouragement in pair of bumpers and similar story when fourth of 6 in a mares' novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.7f) in November. Entitled to do better with that under her belt. Tongue tied.

Unpromising in points and has offered little in a bumper and novice/maiden hurdle so far. Easy to look elsewhere.

Hinted at promise when fifth in a Ffos Las bumper on debut last autumn but failed to build on that, including in a couple of starts over hurdles. Handicaps down the line is where her future lies.

Ran out an impressive winner of a 13-runner juvenile hurdle at Cagnes-Sur-Mer (16.4f) in December but disappointed when only fourth on yard debut at Wincanton last month. Well worth another chance.

Clovis Du Berlais filly who shaped like a stayer when fifth of 8 in bumper at Hereford (16.2f, good to soft) 52 days ago. Will need further in time but worthy of a market check on hurdles bow.

Forecasts

Ma Belle Noire (85/40), Grivetana (5/2), Last Of A Legend (11/4), Chabichou Dupoitou (11/2), Emorelle (8/1), Kimarelli (25/1), Oseleta (28/1), I'm On My Way (28/1), On Time (100/1), Shesupincourt (150/1), Optical Girl (300/1)

14:30 Chepstow - 24 March 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An easy winner on her only start in France, GRIVETANA was a big disappointment on her first outing for this yard at Wincanton last month. She's taken to get back on track and prove that that effort was just a minor blip. Chabichou Dupoitou showed much more sent hurdling recently so she's feared most with progress on the cards, ahead of Harry Fry's pair Last of A Legend and Ma Belle Noire.
