FIGHTER ALLEN was out of his depth in a Grade 1 last time but had shaped well when second on his chase debut prior to that and is taken to make it third time lucky over the larger obstacles. Max Flamingo is useful and should give a good account back in calmer waters, while the selection's stablemate Bacardys would be a danger to all if recapturing the form of his reappearance run at Gowran.
