Best effort in 3 bumpers when runner-up at Kelso in November and showed more than on hurdles bow sporting a first-time tongue tie when fourth at this track 17 days ago. Plenty more required.

Split a couple of next-time-out winners on his only outing in bumpers for Gareth Aherne and having won 2 starts in points, showed plenty when third on hurdles bow at Ayr last month. More to come.

A few in with a shout but BARROWDALE was the only one able to see things out under testing conditions at Uttoxeter last month and won readily. He's open to improvement and, with Donald McCain enjoying a fruitful campaign, he gets the verdict. Your Own Story showed plenty to work on when a close third at Ayr on hurdling debut so he shades the vote for second over recent Navan-scorer Silvertown.
