Brown Bullet19
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: Page Fuller| T: A Irvine| OR:  104| CD
13/2
Fair hurdler who has been below form this term (including over fences). Latest effort offered a bit more encouragement and her mark is sliding, so not completely dismissed.

Envol De La Court66
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-11| J: Brendan Powell| T: M Scudamore| OR:  103
9/1
Won 20.5f Market Rasen handicap last November. Some respectable efforts this term, not least when fourth of 14 at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) last time, and he's in with an each-way shout.

Opened his account in a race that was set up for him at Exeter in November, suited by strong pace and lead late on. Failed to back that up next time, though, and others now make greater appeal.

French Flat winner who went close in an AW bumper at Kempton last February. However, yet to threaten over hurdles and recent reappearance effort at Leicester was hardly inspiring.

5/1
Fair maiden chaser in France and posted best effort yet for new connections when third in a 10-runner Chepstow handicap (19.4f, soft) 3 weeks ago. Now tried in blinkers and he's not without hope.

Didn't show much when returning from a lengthy absence at Plumpton last month and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

Little impact all 4 starts over hurdles, the latest in a Chepstow handicap back in October 2018. Still, he was a winner on the Flat last spring and resumes in this sphere on an attractive mark.

10/1
Winning pointer who was an eye-catching fourth of 15 at Southwell (24.3f) last March. Disappointing when well-backed on return/debut for new yard at Leicester and tongue strap added down in trip here.

Modest in bumpers and hasn't made much of an impact over hurdles either, finishing nearer last than first on handicap debut at Warwick last time.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-2| J: David Prichard(5)| T: J Scott| OR:  80| BF
2/1
Improved efforts when placed in handicaps on first 3 starts of this season. Not so good at Uttoxeter (19.9f, soft) on latest start, but should be on the premises in this open-looking race.

Forecasts

That Ole Chestnut (2/1), C'Est Quelqu'un (5/1), Brown Bullet (13/2), Balkardy (8/1), Envol De La Cour (9/1), Zillion (10/1), Magnificent Ben (10/1), Season In The Sun (12/1), Quiana (25/1), Good Time Ahead (40/1)

15:35 Fontwell - 7 February 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

It was a long time ago that ZILLION last lined-up in a race over hurdles, but he is nevertheless worth chancing given that pretty much all 10 of these have a bit to prove for one reason or another. Susan Gardner's charge was successful on the Flat last year and resumes in this sphere on a lowly mark. Magnificent Ben is next on the list ahead of Envol de La Cour and That Ole Chestnut.

  1. ZILLION (IRE)
  2. MAGNIFICENT BEN (IRE)
  3. ENVOL DE LA COUR (FR)
