AMERICAN GERRY was denied by an improver at Fontwell on Sunday but stuck to his task well in the straight, and he's firmly expected to get off the mark over hurdles in this weaker event provided the run doesn't come too soon. Seven Arches should be suited by the increased distance, so he's regarded as the main threat ahead of Punta Prima.
