£30,000 half-brother to 4 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Flag of Honour (2m winner). Minor promise at Doncaster but looks a handicap project.

Showed promise on first start in bumper but failed to build on that when well held 6 months later. Big price after low-key hurdles bow but more like it when seventh at Ayr.

Nicely bred and quickened up well to score comfortably on debut in a bumper at Hexham in April. Sound effort under a penalty 8 months later and one to consider now hurdling.

Promising debut when third in 2½m Aintree novice won by the useful Hillcrest , around 3 lengths adrift of the runner-up Our Jet. Weakening out of it when falling at Warwick last month.

14:45 Wetherby - 27 January 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

RISK D'ARGENT's defeat of a couple of next-time-out winners at Uttoxeter appeals as the strongest piece of form on offer and he had an excuse for a slightly lesser effort at Fontwell a month ago. Lupus Regem is likely to surpass the level he achieved at Newcastle, while Fringill Dike deserves a mention as a bumper scorer.
