HAWTHORN COTTAGE fared about as well as could have been expected in a C&D listed event in December and, without much obvious competition for the lead, she might prove hard to pass back in handicap company with an in-form 7-lb conditional on board. Keep Wondering is only 3 lb higher than when successful at Haydock last month, so he's an obvious danger, while Mellow Ben isn't one to dismiss.
