33/1, better effort in this sphere when staying-on sixth of 12 in novice at Leicester (15.5f, soft) 22 days ago. May do better still, but he needs to if he's to trouble the principals.

Forecasts

Ballybeen (2/1), Hatos (5/2), Drenagh (5/2), Petty Cash (7/1), Roger Rarebit (14/1), Patient Owner (25/1), Hesbehindyou (66/1), Parsons Pleasure (66/1), Shot Boii (80/1), Lucky Bounce (100/1), Captain Grinnaway (150/1), Beat The Storm (150/1)

13:10 Chepstow - 6 January 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The market should reveal plenty, but Anthony Honeyball has his string in excellent nick so his HATOS is taken to go in at the first time of asking in this sphere after a promising bumper third here last month. Ballybeen rates the pick of those with hurdling experience and is next on the list, although Drenagh can make his presence felt too if building on his recent Bangor second after an absence.

  1. HATOS (FR)
  2. BALLYBEEN (IRE)
  3. DRENAGH (IRE)
