Low mileage and in contention when falling 3 out in handicap hurdle at Newbury on return. Again let down by jumping when taking a heavy fall at Taunton so not an ideal preparation ahead of chase bow.

Forecasts

Red Rookie (11/8), Calico (3/1), Call Me Lord (4/1), Pure Bliss (13/2), Galice Macalo (18/1), Soldier Of Destiny (28/1), Osprey Call (28/1)

14:15 Hereford - 4 January 2022 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

RED ROOKIE showed big improvement when going close on his chase bow at Chepstow and he might well have given the winner something to think about had he not tipped up at Ascot 18 days ago. He can make amends at the main expense of Pure Bliss, who showed herself to be a useful hurdler when winning at Punchestown in the spring and offered plenty to work on sent chasing at Exeter on return.

  1. RED ROOKIE
  2. PURE BLISS
  3. CALL ME LORD (FR)
