Majority of his efforts last term were below par and little impact in 2 starts this season having rejoined former yard.

Ended last season with a couple of creditable efforts, but reappearance display at Exeter left much to be desired and now 0-12.

No show over hurdles, but this former point winner has looked an entirely different proposition since switched to fences, making it 2-2 in this sphere at Warwick when last seen in May. Big player.

Back to form with blinkers refitted in January, making all at Fontwell prior to finding just one too good at Exeter 5 days later. Misfired on return, but possibilities if new headgear does the trick.

Posted much his best effort to date when going close in a handicap hurdle upped to 3m at Haydock recently. Just 1 lb higher for this chase debut and will be a threat if his jumping passes the test.

Winless since 2018 and hard to warm to on recent evidence, or judged on his sole previous start over fences (pulled up).

Dual point winner and successful in a bumper/over hurdles. However, he hasn't made much of an impact in 3 starts since switched to this sphere.

Successful at Warwick in April and while he needs to bounce back following below par efforts the last twice, this 8-y-o is dangerous to discount round here (Ffos Las form figures read 62114225).

Regressed following fairly encouraging Rules debut in a Hereford novice hurdle last December, and hasn't shown much in 2 starts switched to fences this season. Now tried in blinkers.

Point winner who left previous Rules form well behind at the third attempt over fences when landing a 23.8f handicap chase here last month. 4 lb rise fair and he should have more to offer.

Forecasts

Powerful Position (5/2), One Fer Mamma (11/4), Danilo D'Airy (4/1), Dalkingstown (11/2), Le Tueur (8/1), Robin Of Sherwood (12/1), Ballybreen (14/1), Ranieri (16/1), Petite Power (22/1), Connard (33/1), Laugharne (50/1)

14:55 Ffos Las - 16 December 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

If able to pick up where he left off last season, DANILO D'AIRY will prove a very tough nut to crack. The 8-y-o impressed with his bold jumping when landing back-to-back handicap chases at Warwick during the spring and remains open to improvement in this sphere. Further progress should be forthcoming from Powerful Position, too, and he is next on the list ahead of chasing-debutant One Fer Mamma.

  1. DANILO D'AIRY (FR)
  2. POWERFUL POSITION (IRE)
  3. ONE FER MAMMA (IRE)
