Well-bred sort who, in a tongue tie, was a bit underwhelming when only third in a bumper at Wincanton 10 months ago. Will learn from that experience, and top yard should have him well prepared.

YOUNG BUTLER has plenty to recommend him on breeding and started his hurdling career in a positive manner when third over C&D last month. With improvement expected, he's fancied to get the job done, although point recruit Iceburgh Bay looks a formidable opponent, and there's a good chance that Offyoupop steps up on his sole start in a bumper, so it's unlikely to be plain sailing for the selection.
