Doubled his tally in game fashion in what looked a decent novice at Uttoxeter (15.8f) last month. More needed now pitched into a handicap, but this low-mileage 5-y-o merits respect all the same.

Ended last season in good form, scoring in decisive fashion at Newcastle prior to finishing a creditable third at Wetherby. Well held on C&D reappearance, but should be sharper now.

KAUTO D'AMOUR failed to make an impact on his C&D reappearance, but he's entitled to come on for that and is appealing off a 2 lb lower mark. It's hard to rule out recent Uttoxeter novice winner Geromino, for all that he needs another personal best on this handicap debut. Still, bigger threats may be posed by Just Call Me Al, who did the job well here on his penultimate start, and Soloheadbeg.
