Lightly-raced winner who failed to improve when only fourth of 8 on his handicap debut here (9f) 35 days ago, keeping on. Fitted with first-time cheekpieces on this first try at 1¼m.

Proved better than ever when resuming winning ways at Sandown (9.9f) in August. Not disgraced when 4½ lengths fifth of 11 to Kattani at Nottingham 9 weeks later, but current mark clearly demands more.

Sea The Stars Colt who got his career back on track when making all in a Nottingham novice (10.2f) in August. Looked uncomfortable on camber at Epsom subsequently, so better judged on previous form.

It's now twelve runs since his last win in 2020, and he ran one of this season's poorer races when last of 7 in 12f handicap at Epsom 33 days ago. Plenty to prove fitted with first-time blinkers.

Benefited from the step back up to 1¼m when landing handicaps at Yarmouth and Chelmsford in the summer. However, in and out since, perhaps stretched by 2f longer trip at Kempton last time.

Neptune Seas looked unsuited by the idiosyncratic nature of Epsom last time, so is another better judged on his previous form. Soto Sizzler completes the shortlist.
